Advising for Juniors and Seniors
The Department of Art advisors help to guide current and prospective students toward a degree completion in their chosen area of emphasis. Returning students at Junior or higher standing should meet with a Department of Art advisor each semester. Contact the art department office for assignment of your faculty advisor; all members of the full-time faculty are advisors. Schedule a meeting with your advisor to determine the appropriate class sequence as you begin to take concentration-specific advanced classes. Your advisor will expect to discuss your plans while reviewing your updated area of emphasis worksheet. The worksheets are available for download at the links below.
To download a pdf version of the degree requirements as listed in the UNLV undergraduate catalog, along with descriptions of courses offered by the Department of Art, link to the undergraduate catalog page on the UNLV website.
