Students
Allows students to focus on a field of study and Many of our graduates have gone to a make a significant impact on the contemporary art world. The undergraduate degree offers a number of options including the areas of painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, art history, and photography. Students may select to enroll either in our Bachelor of Arts degree program or may apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Studio space is provided for students in the BFA program.
Degrees & Programs
The Department of Art at UNLV offers undergraduate degrees in both art history and studio work, with an option to enroll in the BFA program for students who wish to focus on a particular body of work more closely before graduation.
Students who already possess a BA or BFA from an accredited university and wish to work towards a graduate degree in studio art may choose to enroll in the MFA degree program. The MFA is a three-year program that will direct students towards completion of the skills necessary to be an artist in today’s environment. Read More
