The UNLV Department of Art is fortunate to host cutting edge artists, designers, and art historians. These inspiring creative leaders visit the campus to engage with students in the classroom, teach workshops, share their research, facilitate discussions, and offer critique.
For Sphere’s first design contest, celebrating the 4th of July, two winners from Art, Architecture, Film, Engineering, and Mathematics will have their designs showcased on the Exosphere.
Inspired by the Mario Basner Passion Project fund, the student exhibition runs through May 15.
The series, 'Arts in the Center,' will run Feb. 28 to June 5 at Historic Commercial Center and will highlight works from CFA schools and departments.
Students go beyond the canvas to spark their artistic perspectives and sculpt their creative futures.
