Grant Hall Gallery, the oldest gallery space on campus—having been founded in 1963 in the former university library that once comprised the gallery and the adjacent intermediate painting room—is now the primary student gallery for the Department of Art. Because the space is primarily student-curated, the variety of shows the gallery offers is almost always unique and eclectic. The gallery is also the traditional home of annual and biennial events such as the Master of Fine Arts midway exhibitions, the Exposure photography series curated by Professor Catherine Angel, and one of the key galleries for the Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibitions. Grant Hall Gallery is currently curated by Professor Sang Duck Seo.
