Total: 137 credits

Note:
1. Of the 39 credits in studio art requirements (300-400 level), 12 credits must be in one area.
2. Candidates will be reviewed at the end of the spring semester prior to their final year for admittance into ART 496 and 497. If accepted, they are required to enroll in ART 496 (fall semester) and ART 497 (spring semester) and exhibit their work in a gallery selected by the program director.
3. Of the 137 credits required, 42 of these credits must be in upper-division course work (300-400 level), including courses taken in the major.
4. Art 309 may not be taken for art history credit by studio majors.
5. Every student must complete a three-credit multicultural course and a three-credit international course. Courses satisfying other requirements may simultaneously satisfy the multicultural and international requirements except one course cannot satisfy both the multicultural and the international requirements.
