Justin Crabtree received a fiercely competitive full scholarship to Pilchuck Glass School this summer. There were over 350 applicants worldwide. Justin was one of the approximately 75 fortunate recipients chosen for a scholarship due to his impressive jury score. He has chosen to take UNLV instructor Brent Sommerhouser's course -The Glass Sandwich - this July.

Stephen Hendee exhibits at Scope Miami Via Ada Gallery December 6-9 2007, with a solo exhibition at DA Gallery Richmond, Virginia, beginning February 26, 2008.
Another upcoming exhibition for Professor Hendee will be at the Las Vegas Art Museum: 702 Series/Stephen Hendee, Be My Suicide February 20-April 27, 2008.
Congratulations to SAGA, the Student Association of Graphic Designers, which held its inaugural meeting in November. The President, Tom Speak, introduced the board and described the goals of SAGA. The meeting was attended by a large and enthusiastic group.
Mary Warner, Associate Professor in Painting, has been awarded a residency at the Bemis Foundation in Omaha, Nebraska. Professor Warner also has a solo exhibition of recent paintings at Jay Jay Gallery which runs November 7th through December 22nd, 2007. http://www.jayjayart.com/
